I have been a member, listener, and supporter of 91.3 WYSO FM for years. Last month, the station went off-air one night, and was out (for me) for a day or two. Thereafter, the station has had noise in the broadcast.

I’ve contacted the station, and they had me talk to their technician. He did not find any problems, and suggested it was not the station that was the problem. While things may have checked out for him on his radio and at the station, I hear a ‘hiss’ that is frequently on and off during broadcasts.

If anyone in the Dayton area has noticed problems with WYSO’s broadcast over FM radio, please add some comments to this post so I can let them know it is not an isolated issue. Thanks!
