Late last night, I learned from the news, that authorities near Waynesville, Ohio, where we used to live, spotted a black bear on Lower Springboro and Township Line Roads two days ago!

Reports are that the bear may have wandered in from West Virginia or Pennsylvania to this area, in search of a mate. I hope that is true, as this part of Ohio has not had bears in it since they were hunted out of the area, back in the 1800s. Sad.

I half expect to hear of some person who raised a bear cub and let it go into the wild. However, here is a good article by the Wilmington News Journal:
