James 2nd Raingutter Regatta is to be held tomorrow, Saturday, November 14th at Clinton-Massie elementary school. We did pretty well this year, though the boat is pretty lean. Gold paint, nails for rail posts, flag poles and a fore beam, electric wire for rope, and slices of electrical tape for black flags. Looks cool to us!

If you are not familiar with the Raingutter Regatta, it is much like the Pinewood Derby car races that Scouts have each year, only the sail boats are scout-wind-driven, and the ‘ocean’ is really a rain gutter. They have to walk beside their boats, and blow them to the finish before their opponent gets there.

James gets his popcorn orders in tomorrow too. Hope to have some prizes tomorrow to report on!!
