Power Outage Update – September 17, 2008

  • September 17, 2008
  • by Roger Starnes

It has now been three days since out power at home and work went out, due to the wind of Sunday.

We arrived back home from visiting Casey and Travis’ families in Gallipolis on Sunday, and Rachel drove us through the storm/wind with the camper in tow on the Avalanche up US 35. Nuts!

So far our power generator has been a life saver as has many candles and propane.

Roger has been working the past two days at a co-workers home in Kettering, as power in Yellow Springs (where his office is) has been out too.

There are still MANY lines lying on the ground from high-tension wires between Wilmington, Yellow Springs and Kettering.

Have photos? Send the to Roger!
