I have to say that since Marvel has been doing movies, they have done quite well! Spiderman was fantastic, in all movies, as others have been done well too. This past weekend, my wife and I went to see Ironman with my brother-in-law and sister-in-law. WOW! I was totally not expecting the storyline that was told. Excellent!

I had expected the now familiar Marvel story: somewhat unpopular kid/person has something extraordinary happen to them, and they go off fighting crime. This story is not the typical one.

I have always been a fan of Robert Downey Jr., but like most who like him, I am frustrated that certain life issues have plagued his acting career. Regardless of his past, he was fantastic as Tony Stark! He acted brilliantly, he looked good, and made the show.

You might like to check this one out if you get time. Not so good for the kids, due to some violence, and a few other scenes, but overall a great flick! NPR did a report on this movie and the drought of good movies this year, and they predicted this could be a real winner. Well, if it were up to me, I’d give it a block-buster role!
