Busy Day!

Today was quite the busy one! Jimmy repairs, mower tire replacement, mowing, piano recital at 1:00, Huck and Hester’s picnic at Possum Run at 3:00. Ate, talked, met Hester and relatives on their side I did not know. Watched a game of croquet, saw Travis and Julie and other family. Then it was back to the house to get ready for Katie’s dance recital at 7:00.

Got there late, stood for most of first hour unable to find seat in dark. Intermission we all went outside to get some cool air (no A/C in Murphy currently). After intermission went in to watch 2nd half, saw Katie’s other featurette (good). Festivities ended around 9:30 p.m. Met James and Sabrina at Frisch’s in Wilmington. Too late for dinner! Waiter was a bit ‘funny’ and did not serve us very well. Home to do work for class at church tomorrow, beat! Hot sun and cool AC make a person very tired.

Tomorrow after church, I hope to finish power spraying my driveway, so I can get it all re-sealed on Monday. Some way to spend a day ‘off’. Maybe I’ll be lazy instead? I have had my neighbor’s power sprayer for 4 weeks now, I need to get it done!
