Father’s Day = Work (and a little play)

Father’s Day = Work (and a little play)

I’ve made a number of posts, regarding the painfully slow and difficult process of getting my old driveway re-sealed, and the process continues. Rachel was working on the horse fence after church yesterday, so I checked the weather, and they said ‘no rain’ for at least last night. So I decided that I would try to get the rest of my driveway done. I did (thank God!), and it was as unenjoyable as it was previously.

Before, I was using a squeegee so the application process was not too bad. However, the last section of the driveway was so worn, that I had to get a brush to apply the sealer. While the brush applicator worked good for the driveway, it kept flinging tiny specs of sealer on my legs, and combined with the temperatures and sweat, my legs are still itching and burning.

28 5-gallon buckets of sealer, about 30+ hours of application, and over $450, but it is DONE!!!
