Goodbye Mr. Jackson

Goodbye Mr. Jackson

  • June 26, 2009
  • by Roger Starnes

Michael Jackson was one of the best young singers I ever remember! I have drawn away from him, as many have, after he started his color-changing and nose-destruction, but as a kid, and young man, he was so dynamic! Even today watching video of this 10-12 year old belt out the songs he did was simply amazing.

It is sad when pop stars get so famous they implode, and that is what I feel happened to Michael Jackson the past 10-20 years. His popularity and fame from Thriller was so brilliant, he never recovered from it. Like him or not today, you had to have liked him as a young man, who couldn’t?

My sympathy goes out to his family. Michael, you sure were amazing. I wish fame had not damaged you so.

Don’t forget!
