Grave Digger – Pine Wood Derby Truck

Grave Digger – Pine Wood Derby Truck

James derby did not provide him with a single race win today. Seems the parental involvement to most of the scouts was significantly more than what we anticipated. He had a number of folks checking out his work, but he was unhappy at not winning a single race. It was a double-elimination event. He was sad and pouted for a while, but got over it quickly (food distraction).

Once again doing things the way the scout book stated, proved to benefit James. Like the “Raingutter Regatta”, James won a trophy for his workmanship – this time 2nd place! So the judges were keen to what the scouts did versus what was done for them. Good job James! Dennis Anderson would be proud! Thanks to mammaw Judy coming out to watch.

Happy Birthday Parker!
