July 4th Visit to Fort Randolph

July 4th Visit to Fort Randolph

  • July 6, 2009
  • by Roger Starnes

We all went down Friday night to watch the fireworks at Casey’s house near Gallipolis, OH. He had bought a number of good fireworks from Indiana and had a grill-out and fireworks show for everyone. No one was injured and the display was good. Best of all the weather was outstanding! No rain, great temps, low humidity.

The photos above are from our trip to West Virginia (across from Gallipolis, OH via the infamous Silver Bridge) to see Fort Randolph. This fort claims to be the very first fight of the revolutionary war! Amazing some of the things we never know about, right in our backyards.
