No Holes!

Soffit and Siding RepairWhen we repainted our house a few years ago, the one thing we never did was fix the hole in the soffit over our front door. Yeah, hard to hide. It was another job that was a little too complex for my skills, so it continued to remain covered by a bag stapled to the wood.

Today, my brother-in-law James had some time and came by. We went to Lowe’s around 2:30, and by 5:00 we had bought the new materials, removed the old plywood and paneling, put some fresh wood under the paneling, then cut and nailed in the new wood. Not just over the porch, but on 2 other ends that were starting to get soft.

It is very nice having a capable family member who can help out with such projects! Plus I learn how to do things the right/easy way too!t
