Spring Break Conference at Ohio University 2009
I attended the Spring Break Conference in Athens, Ohio today at Ohio University again for the 3rd year in a row. The event started off a bit slow and a bit depressing, from some of the content they were showing done locally, but the sessions during the day were quite good. Adobe was very much involved yet again this year.
I was especially pleased with the session I attended on jQuery, a JavaScript library of sorts for web content. Very cool, well formed code and relatively easy to understand, especially if you know CSS! This was the one session I wanted to attended, and I was unhappy I did not sign-up for the hands-on session to do some development work on my own.
Other sessions were good as well. Eric Meyer was to be the speaker for a couple sessions, but he had a family emergency, yet still phoned in to do a session on JavaScript. Very kind of him!
