Mount Pleasant Graveyard

In August of 2013 I began a conversation with Mr. Charles Burden after he commented on a post I did featuring some of the bridges that cross Anderson’s Fork, the creek that runs behind our house. I was/am planning a kayak trip from our back yard to Caesar’s Creek lake. The kayak trip is still planned but the main thing I’ve been emailing Charles about is the old Mount Pleasant graveyard just north of the old Mount Pleasant high school. He is originally from this area, and some of his relatives are buried in that cemetery. They were some of Clinton county’s first residents!
