I have been living in an area where a local cable company was acquired by Time Warner Cable of Cincinnati Ohio. We only have 28 channels to choose from, and it might be forever before we see more.

We lived in Waynesville, Ohio previously, and while living there, we had digital cable, digital phone, and Road Runner high speed internet over 5 years ago!

Waynesville is not a large area, yet we were upgraded. I understand that the northern part of Clinton county is not a location where TWC gets a lot of business. The reason that most of my neighbors have satellite is because there is not much to offer with the current cable.

If digital cable were available, I am sure more locals would switch, but it will take a lot of investment in the area for us to see that. With a parent employed by cable customers, I keep holding out. But I miss all the digital channels I used to watch!!
